2018 Tax Virtual Conference All Sessions-OD
February 2, 2018 To February 2, 2019
The recently enacted and highly publicized tax reform package has provisions in it that will affect your clients and their retirement plans. Our February 2 Tax Virtual Conference will focus on the new rules associated with the impact on pass-through entities. We will discuss the new rules on tax calculations and deductions and how this might impact their retirement plans. Specifically, the session will dispel the myth that plans may no longer make financial sense for them to sponsor. We will explain the rules, provide some sample calculations, and then prepare you to discuss the new law with your clients and their financial advisers. The speakers for the 2018 ASPPA Tax Virtual Conference will be Bob Kaplan, Director of Technical Education for the American Retirement Association; Bill Karbon, Executive Vice President and Director of Compliance at CBIZ; Adam Pozek, ASPPA President and Partner and Retirement Plan Consultant at DWC – The 401(k) Experts; and a CPA.
The agenda will focus on how the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act impacts retirement plans. Attendees will be able to submit questions throughout the event, which will be answered, as time permits, either as part of the relevant session or by the concluding “Ask the Experts” panel.
Recorded Virtual Conference sessions are available for one year after the date of the live presentation.
